Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Zumino (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Your account

You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You can stop using the Service at any time.

2. Your content

Zumino lets you and others post content such as feedback entries, comments, and votes (“User Content”). You are solely responsible for the User Content you post, including its legality, accuracy, and any consequences of posting it, and you represent that you have all rights necessary to post it and to grant the assignment below.

By submitting User Content to a board, you irrevocably assign and transfer all ownership and intellectual-property rights in that content to the owner of that board, to the maximum extent permitted by law. The board owner may use, modify, reproduce, publish, and distribute the content for any purpose without restriction or compensation to you. To the extent any rights cannot be assigned, you grant the board owner and Zumino a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use that content. You waive any moral rights in the content to the extent permitted by law.

You remain fully responsible for any harm caused by your User Content — including content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, harmful, or that introduces malware — and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zumino and the board owner from any claims, damages, or costs arising from it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• post unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive content;
• violate the rights or privacy of others;
• distribute malware or attempt to disrupt or breach the Service;
• spam, scrape, or misuse votes, accounts, or boards.

Workspace owners and admins may moderate, edit the status of, or remove content on the boards they administer.

4. Responsibility for content

Zumino is a platform only. We do not create, endorse, monitor, or take responsibility for User Content, and we are not liable for any User Content or for any loss or harm arising from it. Responsibility for User Content rests entirely with the person who posted it and, as between the parties, with the relevant board owner. Opinions and statements posted are those of their authors. We may, but are not obligated to, review or remove content we believe violates these Terms.

5. Service availability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zumino and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
